Yael has been a popular Australian actor, best known for her role as an actress in Lorna Morello, Lorna and Peretta from Orange Is the New Black. She was also Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. In addition, she has appeared in shows and films including Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding among others. She has also been a prominent advocate of women's issues as well as for supporting abortion rights and climate conservation. Balmain Public School was her last school. In Australia she attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art.
